Lean Coordinator

Tridonic, the Zumtobel Group's technology company, is a leading global player in the field of lighting technology that produces innovative hardware and software for smart and connected lighting systems.

**About the role**

Tridonic are recruiting for a Lean Coordinator at our site in Spennymoor be responsible for leading and deploying the best practices in the business methodologies and manufacturing organization to support continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes.

Your functions will include but not limited to:

- Assist with development & implementation of our Lean plan.
- Lead the annual savings plan, reporting on monthly performance to senior Management and Global Lean management.
- Leading training sessions for all levels of company employees.
- Engage and work with Global lean team to share best practice and improve the business with Lean Culture, Concepts & Methodologies.
- Drive Continuous Improvement, Reliability Centred Maintenance and Training to improve equipment reliability, improve quality performance, eliminate process waste, and improve process efficiency.
- Frequent use of lean manufacturing tools, including Kaizen, 6S, PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Visual Control/Visual Workplace, Problem Solving/Root Cause, Material Flow, SMED, TPM and other Lean programs.

**What we are looking for**
- Engineering based degree, ideally electronics or similar.
- Experience of working with Lean / CI methodologies.
- The ability to demonstrate experience of implementing improvements in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to train in Six Sigma.
- Strong communication and relationship building skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
