Join our qualifications team, a key part of our highly regarding training and learning function.

Our training and learning function is fundamental to the HR and strategic workforce planning agenda for the council. Our priority is to provide the workforce of the council; and its partners with a range of high quality training, learning and development interventions, linked to the council priorities, realising a culture of learning throughout the organisation.

We are currently looking for maternity support. So, if you have a Level 3 or Level 4 Vocational Qualification in Adult Health & Social Care and would like to join our team, we will work with you to obtain a formal assessing qualification.

We envisage that it will take approximately 6 months to achieve this qualification and you will receive full wrap around support along the way to ensure your success.

In order to be successful, you will have excellent communication and customer care skills, suitable for dealing with a range of internal and external customers in a busy team, as well as being an excellent team player. You will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks, which will include word processing and data input using Microsoft Office and bespoke systems i.e. OneFile.

Prioritising and organising your own workload and being driven by working towards high standard and deadlines whilst adhering to defined business processes and ensuring attention to detail will be key to your success.

In return, you will be fully supported through a structured induction programme including in house training and shadowing experienced members of staff. As the role requires a flexible and agile approach, there is flexibility available around hours worked and work base.
