**Workstream Lead (18-month Contract)**

If so, this exciting opportunity to lead a major energy client's (Onshore Transmission Owner) divestment strategy in London could be for you.

Join our dynamic Offshore Wind OFTO Team as a Workstream Lead and play a pivotal role in securing maximum value in this critical divestiture process.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage specific workstreams, including development and preparation of commercial instruments, for the OFTO strategy.
- Deputize for the OFTO Transaction Manager.
- Establish and maintain efficient systems, processes, and tasks related to OFTO transactions.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders (OFTO package, Operations, Prepare for Operations teams, consultants, OFGEM, DESNZ, OFTO bidders) to ensure clear communication and documentation.
- Contribute to purchasing decisions, Virtual Data Room management, and information requests.
- Review and recommend IDC strategies, support financial teams, and influence cost allocation for optimal outcomes.
- Regularly present progress updates and prepare approvals documents (business cases, scenario analysis).
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with the preferred bidder, adhering to strategy and sanctioned approach.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Proven track record of leading complex transactions & negotiations.
- Strong business/finance or commercial management background (experience with Operations service contracts & regulated transactions a plus).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Commercial acumen and adept negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Professional qualification in engineering, project management, business/finance, or a similar discipline.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be at the forefront of a major divestiture project for a leading energy company. You'll work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, gaining valuable experience in OFTO transactions and contributing to strategic goals.

Contract duration is 18 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. The role is hybrid, offering flexibility between London and remote work.
