We are looking to recruit a courageous and resilient Head of Education Standards and Early Years with the right values, skills and experience to contribute to further developing our place based approach for all children and families.

Embedding and enhancing our One Family Approach, you will be building on outstanding foundations to enrich North Lincolnshire as a place of opportunity for all children, young people and families.

You will have significant senior leadership experience within the education sector, including a good knowledge of early years, excellent analytical and evaluative skills, and a deep understanding of effective strategies for improvement. In addition, you will have a secure knowledge of the Education Inspection Framework and a will have a proven track record of leading improvements within your current educational role. You will be able to demonstrate good interpersonal skills, being able to build and maintain effective working relationships while managing challenging conversations. You will have excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of the complexity of known and emerging strengths and risks for schools and settings.

You will lead and assure the partnership approaches to raising standards and performance across education settings from Early Years through to schools and colleges. Working with colleagues as One Council, you will help support and further develop the role of schools and setting settings within their communities, ensuring high standards and equality of opportunity through accessible and inclusive provision for children.
