Housing Options Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Housing Service for Cherwell District Council. We are seeking a Housing Options Officer to join our team to support us in delivering excellent housing options and homelessness services.
The Person
- CIH Level 3 Qualification and/or significant recent experience in a housing role
- experience of exploring and delivering housing solutions for customers
- experience of working proactively to support clients to prevent homelessness
- good knowledge of housing and homelessness legislation including the requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017
- excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and co-operatively within a small busy team
- Ability to organize and manage your own case load effectively to meet targets and deadlines.
