**Job Description** PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Your key responsibilities will include:

- ** General**- To observe and adhere to all Company rules and procedures, including all aspects of Health, Safety and Hygiene.- To maintain a good working knowledge of Culina Logistics and operations within the Transport Department.- To maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance that upholds and enhances the Company image.- To effectively manage one’s own Working Time in line with the Road Transport Directive.

**Duties**- Conduct daily checks and complete associated documentation.- Carry out trailer checks on loaded trailers and report to Transport staff.- Carry out shunting duties including relevant maintenance and safety checks.- Liaise with the warehouse control and goods in staff to ensure smooth and efficient loading/unloading of trailers.- To observe and adhere to site procedures at all times.- To attend company training as and when required.

**Qualifications**
- CLASS 1 LICENCE REQUIRED
- Attention to detail and accuracy at all times.
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Flexible and methodical approach to work/training.
- Conscientious and reliable.
- Flexible attitude.
- Strong communication skills in order to deliver accurate information.
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
- Able to work as part of a team or individually.
- Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level.
- Have knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
- Be professional, approachable and helpful to ensure smooth running of the general operation.**
