Caretaker/maintenance

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Caretaker to join our team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing the upkeep of various facilities. This is a vital role that requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical repairs, plumbing, and HVAC system maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or repairs needed
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed
- Supervise and coordinate with external contractors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with general cleaning duties as needed

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical repairs
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
- Experience with supervising and coordinating external contractors
- Welding experience is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents or tenants
- Familiarity with logic controllers is preferred
- Leadership skills to effectively manage maintenance tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £8.12-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
