**Why Action for Children?**

Working here is more than a job. Everyone in the Action for Children family is passionate about protecting and supporting children. It's the sense of purpose that drives us every single day. Because we know that, when we work together, we can make a huge difference to bring lasting improvements to vulnerable children's lives.

**A bit about the role**

Our _Anglesey_ _Young Carers_ _project _supports children and young people aged 5-18 years who have caring responsibilities at home. Our dedicated and professional team help raise awareness and provide direct support to children and young people who care for a member of their family.

Young carers face considerable difficulties and are under constant pressure which affects all aspects of their life. The project aims to improve their quality of life, build resilience and help young carers achieve their potential by offering advice, information and support, breaks from caring and specialist services to make sure they're able to maintain a safe and happy childhood.
