**Business area introduction**
***This business area provides Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) structuring, marketing and execution coverage to Debt Capital Markets (DCM) clients.**

**Key activities**
- **Supporting the origination of fixed income transactions, by providing ESG coverage to DCM clients.**:

- **Transactions may take a wide variety of formats, including (but not limited to) green, social, sustainability, transition, sustainability-linked bonds; covered bonds; preferred and non-preferred senior debt; subordinated debt; junior subordinated debt (AT1); ABS (jointly with the Securitisation Structuring Team), etc. All of the above-mentioned products to be originated with DCM clients.**:

- **Work closely with other members of the DCM team, Debt Syndicate and ESG Solutions, in order to deliver a bespoke solution for SCIB’s clients in the regions.**:

- **Interact with other areas of Santander, in order to grow the franchise beyond the immediate DCM area**

**What we’re looking for**
- **Experience in Sustainable Finance or Debt Capital Markets required**:

- **A Degree (or equivalent), preferably in a numerical discipline desirable**:

- **CISI - Corporate Finance Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)**:

- **CISI - Regulatory Module (to be obtained during first 6 months)**:

- **Other linguistic capabilities including spoken and written Spanish and/ or Portuguese desirable**:

- **Fluency in English essential**

**This role is based in our Triton Square office in London, conveniently located within walking distance from Euston Station and Warren Street Station.**
