Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are delighted to be recruiting for this well recognised and respected local business who have been trading for over forty-five years. An exciting opportunity has arisen within the accounting department and as such we are now advertisingfor the following position.
**Purchase Ledger Clerk - Full time**
The role consists generally of the following duties.
- All of the purchase ledger function from matching, coding, entering, filing invoices through to preparation of the monthly supplier payment run
- Checking invoices received against statements to ensure none are missing and contacting suppliers if required
- Logging and resolving invoice queries
- General assistance within the accounting department
**If applicants are keen to learn more accounting tasks, sales ledger, credit control, reconciliations and nominal ledger accounting can also be trained and added to the role to add variety and development**
The successful applicant will be provided with a competitive salary, an annual bonus scheme alongside other employment benefits.An AAT Study package is also available for any applicants wanting to continue or start their studies.
