Brook Street are proud to advertise an IT Support Administrator role within Ministry of Defence

The Temporary Worker will provide middle management support and operate with mínimal supervision, exercising independent judgement in completing assignments.

**Role description**:

- Ideally, they should have previous 1st line support and/or IT or other customer service desk experience as they will be dealing face to face with students and instructors.
- They will be supporting networked PCs, Laptops (including VPN connection), Printers, AV, CCTV equipment and Amazon Tablets. This will include updating software and connecting of equipment. Along with this also goes the administration and asset trackingand auditing of all the issues and movements of the equipment.
- Training on the system and the common issues encountered will be provided.

**Typical qualifications and experience**:

- Knowledge of MOD policy, Joint Service Publications, IT & IM Policy and legal requirements would be an advantage.

**Pay rate**: £13.70/hour, Full time, 37 hrs per week, Monday to Friday, there is no requirement for weekend or shift work.

**Schedule**: Normal hours would be 37-hour week 8.30 to 4.30 (30 Mins Lunch), Mon to Thurs and 8.30 to 4.00 (30 Mins Lunch) on Friday.

*It would be possible to do 8.30 to 17.00 (60 Mins Lunch) Mon to Thurs and 8.00 to 16.00 (60 Mins Lunch) on Friday.

*There may need to be some flexibility on hours to cover business needs and other staff absences.

*Earliest start time that would be required is 7.30 and the latest finish time would be 17.00.

**Assignment Length**: until 10/11/2023

**Location**: Worthy Down, Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 2RG. Due to the nature of the role, the worker would needs to be on site every day as the role involves supporting students within the classroom environment.
