To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a **Kiln Burner** to come and join our team at our **Cattybrook **site in **Bristol,** **BS32 4BX**
**Specific responsibilities include**:
- Monitoring and maintaining consistent operation of the tunnel kiln and chamber dryers in a safe manner
- Maintaining higher standards of housekeeping and environmental standards
- Complete basic mechanical repairs, planned maintenance and lubrication schedules
- Recording and documenting results
- Assist in the development of Risk Assessments and Standard Safe Operating Procedures
- Support the Quality Assurance department.
**Essential Qualifications & Experience**:
- Excellent time keeping and attendance
- Flexible - available for overtime when needed
- Self
- motivated
- Numerate and literate
- Demonstrable problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- High degree of Safety Awareness
- Ability to work alone
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of the use of IT
