**Emergency Control Centre Officer**
**£22,777 to £24,054 + Benefits**
**Fixed Term Contract to March 2025**

We are looking for two officers to join Wirral's busy 24-hour/365-day Emergency Control Centre (ECC) as part of the Council's commitment to community and public safety.

The officers are responsible for monitoring and operating our CCTV network to help detect and deter crime and anti-social behaviour, capturing high quality evidence and providing an immediate response to Emergency Help Point activations, working closely with Merseyside Police.

You will respond to emergency out-of-hours telephone calls, providing resolution, dispatching resources, including the ECC's Community Safety Officers, and liaising with emergency services, other partners, colleagues and contractors.

As part of this role, you will be required to work a structured shift pattern to provide out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays staffing and demonstrate a flexible approach to working shifts to cover colleagues.

Both Fixed Term Contract positions are grant funded for two years until 31 March 2025, with a possibility of extension for a further year until 31 March 2026.
