Bricklayers Labourer

As Gusto Construction continues to grow, we have an opportunity to join our fantastic team.

We have a vacancy working as a site labourer to work alongside a team of bricklayers within a long established construction company.

The role is to support the bricklayers with day to day tasks as required. Performing all required duties on site as instructed working according to industry health & safety standards.

**Key Objectives**:

- Movement and handling of materials to keep up with the bricklayer’s demands
- Keeping the work area safe and tidy
- Preparing areas of work
- Mixing mortar
- Other ad-hoc duties to help the bricklayers where required

**Required Skills**:

- No specific qualifications required. Experience is a MUST Along with a valid CSCS card.
- The ability to follow written and spoken instructions
- Excellent team working skills
- Comfortable working at height
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Good physical condition, due to the nature of the role
- Familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures
- Must be - Hardworking, a committed team player, reliable and trustworthy

Must have own vehicle and valid drivers licence. Sites are easily commutable within 30 minutes from the Newark area.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.90 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
