X2 Recruit are looking for a Laser Operator for our Client in Poynton.
- Operate overhead gantry cranes via radio remote/pendant control to load material for Laser.
- Process lengths of steel precisely using the Laser, as per instructions.
- Store processed material safely in designated areas, to ensure product is accessible in line with company working practices.
- Drive mobile plant such as forklift trucks, side-tracker, etc. and road-based vehicles for loading and transportation purposes, as required.
- Pick items for the laser maintaining a constant workflow and enabling optimum laser capacity.
- Goods Inwards - Unload material and prepare warehouse for future loads.
- Complete daily pre-shift check sheets.
- Work efficiently to maximize laser production and minimize down time.
- Liaise with Cad Technicians, other Operatives and Management as appropriate.
- Report any Laser/plant defects promptly and accurately to the Tube Laser Supervisor.
- Undertake stock checks as required.
- Act on instructions from the Tube Laser Supervisor in respect of work schedules, to satisfy job output.

Mon-Fri 8.45-17.00
