Findings in the most recent Peer Review have included: “ _All clients in the cases reviewed received an extremely high level of service_”; and “_Despite the many demands on the time and resources of practitioners in this field, this firm demonstrates a culture of excellence in legally aided immigration and asylum matters_.”
The Firm is listed in The Legal 500 rankings and the hard work of our immigration team has been recognised in the category of Immigration: Human Rights, Appeals and Overstay.
We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Accredited Immigration Senior Caseworker (Level 2) with experience of dealing with immigration and asylum work.
**Key Skills Required**:
In order to be successful, you must have/be:
- Accredited to at least Senior Caseworker level under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS)
- Excellent grounding and knowledge of the full range of immigration and asylum issues that affect migrants, refugees and asylum seekers
- Prior experience in providing immigration and asylum advice under legal aid and on a private basis
- Experience in achieving billing targets
- Able to work both independently and under the supervision of a Supervising Solicitor
- Excellent client care skills
- Bright, eloquent, have a keen eye for detail, proactive and demonstrate good judgment
- Ability to work to deadlines and short timescales
- A commitment to a long-term career of working with migrants, refugees, asylum seekers as well as individuals and businesses in a mixed legal aid/private practice such as the Firm.

This position may lead to a training contract for those looking to qualify as a solicitor (and may include the granting of time to count) after satisfactory service and if your performance has met the Firm’s expectations.
**Salary**:
£27,000 to £35,000 per annum
Consultants: profit sharing dependent on experience.
