**Glass Operative**

Due to increasing customer demand we are looking for new team members to join our production team at Padiham Glass.

**What you'll be doing**:

- Operating glass processing equipment across the operation
- Handling sheets of glass and cutting it to size with the use of machinery
- Using a variety of glass cutting, toughening and moulding tools
- Manual handling and loading of glass onto stillages
- Ensuring the safe operation of all glass equipment
- Complete all relevant paperwork as required involved in day to day glass production

**You will have**:

- Experience of using and working with a variety of glass is ideal, however not essential as full training will be provided
- The ability to lift and handle (sometimes heavy) materials
- A good understanding of Health and Safety requirements
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to work to tight deadlines both individually and as a team
- Punctuality and be reliable

**Hours**: 40 hours per week

**Shifts**:
Monday - Friday:

- Early 6:00am - 2:00pm - £10.83 per hour
- Lates 2:00pm - 10:00pm - £11.40 per hour
- Nights 10:00pm - 6:00am - £11.40 per hour

**Salary**: Up to £11.40 per hour

- 8 hour shift
