A leading global design consultancy with a portfolio stretching across the world. They have a vast portfolio of developments across a wide range of sectors, being involved in projects ranging from £500k - £10bn.
The Project
Various new build and refurbishment rail projects across the Uk with values ranging from £50k - £2m.
**Requirements**:
For this role it is essential that you carry the following professional qualifications as a minimum;
- Ideally degree in an Engineering Field
It is also essential that you hold the skills & experience below;
- Knowledgeable of AutoCad
- Previous experience in a Civil Design Position
The Role
- Job Title: Design Cooridnator
- Job Type: Permanent
- Project: Various Rail Developments
- Reporting to: Practice Director / Engineering Manager
Duties
- Make sure designs are buildable and represent value for money by coordinating with construction teams
- Ensure consistency and quality of deliverables across the entire project by collaborating with the wider design team.
- Meet technical and project requirements with innovative, cost-effective design solutions
- Manage the production of engineering designs, calculations, and calculations
- Performing tasks such as Task Manager, Designer, Checker, or Approver when needed.
- Presentation of engineering options, conceptual outlines and detailed designs.
- Ensure that the work is completed according to the programme, budget, and specification.
- Assist and support the Engineering Manager in any way that is required
