Chemist4U owned by Innox Trading Ltd is a fast-growing e-commerce business who is seeking a Warehouse Operative (with a Forklift Truck Licence) to support the growth of the business. You will be joining a passionate team who work together to contribute to the success of the business. You will be required to work 37.5 hours within core hours of 8am - 7pm (Monday to Friday). You will also be required to work and on a Saturday morning rota (for which a 10% premium is payable).

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Taking goods to the appropriate storage space
- Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
- Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely and labelled correctly and safely.
- Picking orders and bringing them for packing, or to the loading bay for transportation.
- As a packer, you may spend most of your time at a packing machine or conveyor line. You’ll put products into containers, such as boxes and crates, using bubble wrap or polystyrene chips, and then seal the containers ready for delivery. You will also ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders.
- Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.

With heavy equipment in operation warehouses can be dangerous places, so following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.

**Skills & Personal Attributes & Experience**
- You must hold a FLT Licence
- There is a physical, manual handling element to this role.
- Experience in a similar role would be preferred, however full training will be provided
- You must be literate,
- You must be able to work as a team.
- Must respect and adhere to our business values.
- Must be a good time keeper

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
