Inspector

We are looking for an **Inspector** to join our team based in **Billingham**. This is a **full-time, permanent role**and in return, you will receive a **competitive salary plus benefits.**

**Paralloy Ltd** is situated in the UK and has 3 sites - Billingham, Middlesbrough, and Sheffield. The business has a worldwide presence and is a major supplier to the petrochemical market. The success of the company has been built on developing quality products in rapid lead times supported by a focused approach to customer service.

**Working hours of the Inspector role**: 37 hours per week, working the shifts required by the department, which at present is a rotational pattern of days and nights.

**Responsibilities of our**Inspector**will include**:

- Inspection of fabricated assemblies at various stages of assembly to ensure they conform with customer quality plan/drawings. Weld procedure checking. Dye penetrant of assemblies. PMI testing of materials and welds. Checking completed assemblies against the final inspection report. Completion of material location sheets. Liaising with appropriate personnel. Working safely throughout all activities in line with Paralloy’s safety standards and procedures. General 5S housekeeping / Operator PPM.
**What we’re looking for in our**Inspector**:

- Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings. Able to assist in the fabrication of assemblies when necessary. ASNT DPI Level 2 certification. Potential training to C-SWIP 3.0 level- Good communication skills: both written and verbal. A good understanding of health & safety, environmental issues and quality rules.
