**Job purpose**

Cleaning school premises in Bootle

The school is is looking to recruit a permanent experienced Cleaner to be part of our hardworking team, ensuring the school building is cleaned daily to a high standard ready for our children to learn.

The ideal person will:

The current rate of pay is £11.91 p/h

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained form the Disclosure \& Barring Service.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Cleaning all areas of school premises to a high standard including staff and pupil areas.
- To communicate regularly with your line manager on progress, issues or with queries.

DBS check will be required - cost met by employer

Minimum Qualifications - no formal qualifications are required but a knowledge of Manual Handling, CosHH will be an advantage.

**You should take pride in your work and like a job done well**

**Previous cleaning experience preferred.**

**14.75 hours p/w 3.15pm - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday - Friday 3 - 6**
