Pre School Assistant

We are seeking to employ a part-time, term-time pre-school assistant from April - July 2023. Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9.15 - 2.45. These hours may increase as the need arises.

Your role would be:

- To assist in providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment for all children.

To supervise children throughout their play, attend staff meetings, training courses and assist with setting up and packing away of equipment.

To carry out day to day duties required to maintain the effective and efficient running of the setting.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You should have knowledge of the EYFS and be able to adapt to the changing needs of all the children in the setting. All applicants must be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS and references checks

Ideally you should have:
NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care Learning and Development or equivalent qualification or studying towards a level 3. First Aid certificate.

Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: £6.83-£9.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff do twice weekly lateral flow tests.
