Storeman

£24,000 p/a + shift enhancement, Burgess Hill, Monday to Friday, alternating every 4 weeks, 7am - 3:30pm and 10.30am - 7pm (soon to be changing to 6am - 2:30pm and 1:30pm - 10pm), Free Parking, Pension, 20 days Holiday + Bank holidays + paid Christmas shutdown, Private Healthcare, hot and cold drinks as well as snacks provided.

Job Role

We are working with an excellent employer in Burgess Hill who are continuously growing and looking for a Stores Operative to join their busy team. This is a hands-on role requiring Stores experience and a general warehouse background. This position would be ideal for a Forklift operative, Storeman, Stock controller, or Goods in/out Operative.

Assist with Goods in and Goods out processes
Loading and unloading deliveries with use of a Forklift (licence required)
Movement of stock between two factory sites (driving licence required)
Stock control ensuring systems are accurately updated
Picking and packing outgoing items

The Person

You will need to have a background in a Stores position and be willing to stand for long periods of the day. You will need to be efficient, helpful and motivated. You must have a proactive approach, willing to help others and offer good team spirit. A forklift licence and driving licence are both required for this position.
