_**Job Title**:_Admin Officer
The post holder will be reporting to the Assistant Principal Officer - Governance or the Business Governance Manager.
The post holder will be a member of the Housing Services Governance Team within the Business Excellence Unit.
They will be responsible for admin to the team in areas such as Performance Management, GDPR, Risk Management and Business Planning and keeping associated registers and plans up to date.
**Location**: Belfast
**Hours of work**: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm)
**Salary range**: £10.98
**Key Responsibilities**
1. Provide timely & accurate admin support to delivery of the team’s business objectives.
2. Ensure data and reports are formatted correctly, to high standards of presentation using word, power point, excel and other IT software as required.
3. Proofread reports and other material to check they are written to excellent standards of English grammar and spelling.
4. Support administration of Divisional risk management and business planning
5. Maintain records and reporting systems in relation to GDPR and related tasks.
6. Provide admin support to the management of the teamwork plan including highlighting key milestones and cyclical activities and deadlines in a timely manner.
7. Respond to queries about data, performance and other records managed by the team.
8. Assist the team to manage audits and other governance activities as may be necessary as directed.
9. Input data to various IT systems as directed checking for accuracy and to the required deadline.
10. Help monitor and manage the Governance team inbox.
11. Provide administrative and co-ordination support to divisional activities, meetings and forums.
12. Organise the practical arrangements for events as directed including distribution of papers, catering and processing payments in line with policy.
13. Contribute to ad hoc governance and business improvement reviews.
This is not an exhaustive list and the postholder may be asked to undertake other duties to meet business objectives of the wider Business Excellence unit.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Have a minimum of five GSCEs grades A to C (including English & Maths) or equivalent
**AND**
- Have a minimum of 1 years relevant experience showing clear evidence of excellent written and communication skills to meet the needs of the post, specifically:
- Excellent standards of grammar and spelling in the English language
- Ability to read and readily comprehend formal reports such as corporate plans and annual reports
**Salary**: £10.98 per hour
