- 3.30pm, Term time only + 1 week**

**£21189 pro rata (£18153 actual salary)**

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Food and Practical Classroom Technician to work across all the material areas of DT including Resistant Materials, Graphics but predominantly Textiles and Food. Broadway Academy is a high performing academy innorth Birmingham.
**The Department**
You will have the experience and skills to be able to
- Clean and maintain two food and têxtiles rooms
- Maintain the food and têxtiles practical equipment
- Ordering, collecting and stock keeping of materials for the food and têxtiles department
- Support teaching staff within practical lessons and extra curriculum activities
- Support selected pupils as directed by the classroom teacher
- Order and arrange collection of required ingredients
- Provide stock control of equipment, tools and machinery. Manage the use of resources to meet the needs of the school.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies relating to Technicians.
- Develop and monitor the relevant budget and liaise with the responsible officer as appropriate.
- Ensure physical resources are managed to best value and liaise with relevant personnel.
- To undertake appropriate professional development including adhering to the principle of performance management.
- Commitment to supporting extra and co-curricular activities
