Dairy Operative

Mploy is searching for a Dairy Pasteurising Operative to join our client in Winchester. Due to location own transport is essential. You will be working in a clean food production environment.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensure all Production and BRC procedures are followed
- Report any Production issues to the Dairy Manager
- Pasteurise ice cream mix, following the recipes provided
- Sanitise low care area prior to production;
- Manufacture ice cream and sorbet bases following the recipes provided;
- Clean the low care area and its equipment after production, and initial the cleaning schedule
- Leave the Low Care area tidy after the day’s work;
- Turn off the lights and lock up at the end of the day;
- Advise Dairy Supervisor / Dairy manager when stocks of raw materials are running low;
- Inform the Dairy Supervisor/ Dairy Manager when any health, safety, or other production incidents may have occurred
- Attend and contribute to weekly production meetings.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in food production or dairy processing is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain production equipment
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production quantities
