Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Nursery Housekeeper to join our team at our Waterloo nursery: St Patrick's School, 91 Cornwall Rd, London SE1 8TH
We are international, operating in India, USA and the UK. In the UK we run 14 Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding nurseries in London and Windsor, and we’re still growing At Kido, we blend the best practices from the Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches and have a unique curriculum for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

**What does the Nursery Housekeeper role entail**
Welcome to the heart of Kido, where passion, ambition, and people are at the core of everything we do As the Nursery Housekeeper, you'll be more than a Housekeeper; you'll be an ambassador for our values, and a gatekeeper for our vibrant culture. Your role will primarily include:
- Ensuring that the nursery is presented to a high standard
- Maintaining cleanliness and complying with Health & Safety, Environmental Health and COSHH regulations.
- Ensure everything is in its rightful place, fresh and clean, ready to amplify the children’s learning journeys, ensuring clean surfaces, items, floors and laundry is maintained.
- Tidiness is also key, ensuring bins are emptied and belongings are organised
- Being responsible for the front-of-house area, where we make the first impression, ensuring it’s inviting and welcoming for all.
- You’ll play a key role in creating an environment that reflects our commitment to excellence in early years.

**What we’re looking for**
- For the Housekeeper role, there are no specific qualifications needed
- A friendly and efficient approach comes first alongside an interest in working around children
- Your values will align with our 3 core values - Listen, Learn and Lead
- You will likely have some previous experience in a Housekeeping or Cleaning role
- If shortlisted you’ll be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions prior to interview, in line with our Safer Recruitment process. We will also process an Enhanced DBS Criminal Record check for anyone who joins the team
