Yard Labourer

We are looking for someone to work in a busy skip yard. It is manual work and you will be required to work full time.

**Duties**:
Sorting and separating waste materials into recyclable and/or reusable waste streams.

You would be expected to be able to drive or have the willingness and ability to learn to drive vehicles and plant machinery on our property, including a skip truck (shunter), loading shovel and excavator.

This is a physical job, you should be fit and enthusiastic.

If you are lazy, expect to sit on a machine all day, or have no enthusiasm to work, please do not apply.

Skills/Qualifications:
Previous loading shovel/excavator experience is preferred, In house training can be offered.

The ability to work safely in a busy working environment is crucial.

Starting at £10.50/hour with an overtime rate to be discussed.

40 hours/week

Standard hours are 07.30 - 17.00 (30 mins unpaid for lunch) Though we do sometimes start earlier and finish later depending on workload. (07.00-18.00)

You will be expected to work every other Saturday morning (07.30 - 12.30)
