**The Job Role**

A tug driver operative's job role is to support to discharge and loading of cargo
- Operating a terberg tugmaster for the transfer of goods
- Loading and strapping as required
- Checking correct loads
- Supporting plant and machinery operationse.g. forklifts, hoppers, tugs and loading shovels
- Working as part of a team to ensure H&S at all times
- Operating plant and equipment as required

**The Successful Applicant**
- **Car licence is ESSENTIAL**:

- Previous experience within a port environment is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- Counterbalance Forklift truck is highly desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential e.g. Shunter, port operative, stevedore, roro driver, tug driver, forklift driver, shovel driver, plant operator, crane driver
- Flexible approach to work and good time keeping
