_**Pallet Network Traffic Planner**_
Cumbria Logistics are looking to recruit a full time Traffic / Pallet network planner, working around 50 hours per week.
- Have an awareness of Network and General Haulage routing/ vehicle locations throughout the course of the working day to assist (and at times take the lead) in the efficient management of Company resources.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work in a fast-moving, sometimes challenging, environment.
- Knowledge or ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, systems and legislation relevant to the role.
- To liaise, collaborate and work with other members of the Traffic office, warehouse staff, drivers and customers to ensure the safe and efficient running of the business.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Always adopting a professional and courteous, customer -focused manner.
- Involvement, if required, in warehouse scanning on a daily basis. Identifying issues and dealing with them to successful completion.
- High level of computer literacy including the ability to learn and assist in the development of new systems as the business implements them.
- Accurate entry of data into computer systems to enable efficient routing and comprehensive invoicing to customers.
- Complete use of the systems used within the business, including leaving comprehensive notes to assist yourself and colleagues with future queries and communications.
- Accurate record keeping and paperwork.
- Proactive answering of phone calls to ensure customer satisfaction/ query resolution.
- Ensure that all drivers complete all necessary documentation. Monitor their use of apps throughout the day to ensure network compliance.
- Involvement with the briefing and debriefing of driving & warehouse staff on a daily basis.
- Flexible approach to working. To include covering additional tasks when colleagues are absent from work. Flexibility to work various shifts, with notice, is also required to cover holidays and sickness.
- Deputise for the Traffic Supervisor as and when required. To include General Haulage as well as Network operations.
- Ensure that any work undertaken is carried out to the standard required by the Company.
- Any other duties as reasonably required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £34,580.00 per year
