**Qualified Workshop/Bench Joiner**

Redwells are a Joinery company based in Glenrothes, Fife, who have been trading since 1988 and are a high-quality manufacturer of bespoke joinery products. Specialising in the manufacture of purpose-made joinery, our products are supplied to a wide variety of clients including trade, building contractors, shopfitters and domestic clients. Our workshop is well equipped with high tech machinery to produce stairs, doors, door sets, windows, screens and gates. We pride ourselves in our high-quality workmanship and offer a wide range of timbers to suit our clients’ needs.

We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to join our team. The ideal match for this role is someone highly skilled in workshop joinery with an uncompromising attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a bench joiner
- Have a good eye for quality
- Able to understand drawings and measuring accurately
- Good eye-hand coordination
- Knowledge of different woodworking tools and machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of health and safety

**Role Responsibilities**
- Reading drawings and interpreting accurately
- Adapting products to fit client requirements
- Selecting and evaluating materials for defects
- Manufacture internal and external door-sets, fire rated and non-fire
- Fitting ironmongery to door, constructing door frames and hanging doors into frames
- Ensuring the workshop and warehouse remain clean and tidy with exemplary factory hygiene
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed meticulously (full training will be given)
