**Project Management Lead**
The Project Management Lead will be a crucial member of the team and will be responsible for line managing and coordinating the work of the Projects Team, working closely with the Finance Manager and Operations & Finance Director as well as the client’sTechnical Director and Project Technical Leads.
The Project Management Lead will oversee a range of activity from budget management and mapping key activity, tracking milestones and deliverables to donor finance and narrative reporting and compliance to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.At any one time you could be managing up to 15 projects across the team and with a portfolio of your own, varying in size and scope.
The Project Management Lead will be responsible for the development of the Projects Team including performance management and team resource allocation and also coordination of the development of new funding proposals. For this reason it is essential thatthe ideal applicant has previous and demonstrable line management experience.
Please note that this is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
**Project Management Lead Responsibilities**
Your main duties will include:
- Line managing the projects team
- Setting team objectives
- Coordinating and prioritising the work of the projects team
- Ensuring compliance
- Developing and monitoring project work plans and budgets
- Ensuring project deliverables are produced on deadline
- Leading on project narrative and financial reporting
- Supporting fundraising strategy
- Coordinating the development and submission of proposals for new funding
**Project Management Lead Experience**
To be successful in this role, you will already have experience working in a similar team management position and have demonstrable experience of responsibility for your own projects. You will ideally be educated to degree level or have a Project Managementqualification. Strong understanding and previous experience of managing **donor / grant funded projects within the charity/ third sector is essential,** alongside extensive knowledge of compliance and the complexities of multiple donors.

**Location**
This role is based in Kidlington (OX5). The role will be a hybrid role and there will be a requirement for you to attend the office in line with company expectations which will be a minimum of 2 days a week.
This role can be full-time (37.5 hours a week) or part-time (minimum 4 days a week)
