**Contracts Job Description**

REPORTS TO: Commercial Manager

LOCATION: Westhill, Aberdeenshire

**Purpose of the Role**:
Providing strategic and operational contractual and commercial support to the business for client and supplier facing contracting activities, including tendering, evaluating, negotiating, establishing, and managing contracts.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Review client provided terms and conditions, compile risk matrix and qualifications table to brief management prior to submission to client for negotiation. Support client discussions to reach mutual agreement.
- Develop tender packages, lead tender processes, facilitate, and perform commercial evaluation of bids and negotiations with suppliers, including establishing of supplier KPI’s. Liaise with legal team when required.
- Develop and drive strategic sourcing and contracting strategies, including analysis of spend and market conditions.
- Perform hand-over of executed contracts to Contract Stakeholders and facilitate kick-off process where required.
- Support management of supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Follow-up to ensure implementation of contracts and ensure contracts are fit for purpose.
- Provide ongoing contract management support, including support in contractual disputes, liaising with legal team if required.
- Carry out all activities in compliance with laws and regulations, TEXO Standard of Business Conduct, contractual requirements, TEXO Management System, SCM procedures and established processes.
- Carry out additional duties, as reasonably requested by line manager.

- To look and pass on opportunities, cross sell other divisions of the Texo Group where applicable and pass any opportunities to the Business Development Team.

**Salary**: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
