**Project Manager**

We have registered an exciting role for an experienced Project Manager to plan and deliver multiple projects supporting divisional strategic objectives, working closely with stakeholders across all areas of the business.

**Project Manager Responsibilities**

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Managing and leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Taking ownership of assigned projects through their lifecycle, adhering to agreed quality gates and controls, whilst ensuring they are delivered on time and to budget
- Building detailed project plans
- Defining and agreeing project work-plans, project deliverables and resource requirements
- Managing end-to-end project engagement with stakeholders
- Providing regular reporting on project status
- Contributing to continual improvement of business initiatives
- Managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Sharing project management best practices across the business

**Project ManagerExperience**

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrable project management/ implementation experience and be experienced at delivering projects via cross-functional teams and ideally across geographic regions and varying time-zones. You will be experiencedat producing critical path and risk analysis against a project plan to ensure the project is managed and delivered successfully and within time and budget, liaising with senior academics, deputy vice chancellors, partnering with university partners to askthe right questions and pull together a working group, whilst identifying and mitigating risk. You will have experience of supporting and motivating teams to deliver in alignment with business goals and needs and will have excellent stakeholder management,relationship building, interaction and communication skills. You will be solutions-focused, a good leader, delegator, and team player with strong technical knowledge of processes and the ability to motivate and enthuse a team. You will be honest, hard-workingwith integrity and a supportive attitude to working and interacting with a team. You will enjoy working in an ever-changing environment in a growing and fast-paced organisation who work in an agile manner. Project management certification such as PRINCE 2/APM or equivalent would be desirable but not essential. German or French language skills also a bonus.

**Location**

Our client is based in Abingdon (OX14)

The full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week. During your training period you will be expected to be in the office 1-2 times a week; the offices are modern and open plan, offering plenty of opportunities for collaboration. There is on-site parking as wellas nearby transport links.

Hybrid/remote working is available as required.
