As our teams grow, we are on the lookout for our next Senior Artisan Baker.

Every day is different at The Bertinet Bakery, so here are some of the things you will be doing:

- Maintain communication with the Bakery Manager and Commercial Manger about the night shift.
- Lead the team of Bakery Supervisors, Bakers, Production Operatives and Packers to deliver daily production plans
- Organise shifts and workflow as well as maintain stocks of products and raw materials
- Maintain technical and health and safety standards keeping the bakery ready for audits

- Encouraging food safety polices reducing the chances of customer complaints
- Develop the efficiency of the night shift
- Improving the quality and consistency of the products

- Have experience working in a baking industry

- Can thrive with responsibility, independence, and working at pace.
- Be able to produce hand crafted bread to our high standards using traditional baking techniques including an excellent knowledge of dough and proofing.
- Are enthusiastic, committed and very keen to learn
- Can carry out physical work
- Be reliable, methodical, organised and keen to work as part of a team

**Location**: Bath

**Working Hours**: 5PM - 2AM (flexibility required) Mon-Sun, any 5 days out of 7.
