- SO5343-23-200We have an exciting opportunity to join our Placements, Internships & Volunteering team, to support students to secure high-quality work experiences, allowing them to put their learning into practice.

Primarily working with students from the School of Sport & Health Sciences, this role will focus on providing expert advice and support to students to enable them to secure high-quality, relevant placements, which enhances student employability and graduate outcomes.

The duties are varied, including: supporting students on a 1-1 basis; delivering skills workshops; engaging and working with local, national, and international employers and organisations; attending Careers Fairs and other employability events; administration to ensure student placement activity is monitored, and to ensure the quality and safety of placements.

To be successful in this role it will be advantageous to possess:

- An understanding of student placements in the Higher Education sector
- Experience working with students in an education environment
- Experience delivering workshops
- Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Good administration skills, with ability to use MS Office and databases to a high standard

This is a permanent part time post 30 hours per week. Please note, that this post will primarily be located at Eastbourne until Summer 2024, then on our Brighton campuses.
