Senior Sustainability Consultant with Building Services Experience - Competitive Salary + Benefits
Our client is looking for a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their UK leading, award-winning multidisciplinary building services consultancy. They work on a mix of interesting projects across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial,healthcare and blue light. Recent projects include a film studio and bespoke hotels.
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant, you will be responsible for BREEAM assessments from pre-qualification through to certification, supporting the design teams in achieving BREEAM certification. You will have an understanding of Whole Life Cycle and EmbodiedCarbon within the design and construction process and an understanding of Circular Economy principles. Experience in building services is essential.
You will work in collaboration with the multidisciplinary teams from across the business, assisting the assessment and design process by carrying out internal and external presentations, client meetings, energy audits and carbon assessments.
They are a social bunch made up of dog lovers, cyclists, sports players/supporters and foodies with a great sense of humour
Key Skills
- Proven experience in a similar role
- BREEAM qualifications/experience
- Embodied carbon assessments
- Whole life carbon appraisals
- Circular economy strategies and low carbon materials
- Proven experience in building services
- SAP and SBEM calculations
