**Your new company**
A Norwich-based manufacturing business who are a global leader in their sector are seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to take sole responsibility of processing payroll for over 270 staff.
**Your new role**
In this newly created payroll job you will be responsible for collating, processing and checking the payroll data before the payroll is submitted to a 3rd party payroll provider - ADP. Due to the complexity of their payroll and shift patterns this role willsuit an experienced payroll administrator / payroll clerk who is able to process payroll end-to-end and work closely with ADP with regarding submitting the payroll data along with queries.
You will be responsible for all new starters, P45's, P46, validating timesheets for hourly paid staff, checking salaried staff details, calculate hours including overtime rates and checking any deductions due for example attachment of earnings, allowances andbenefits etc. You will also work closely with the wider finance & HR teams regarding payroll cost journals to the general ledger.
As the payroll specialist you will also support the line managers and staff regarding payroll related items such as pension auto-enrolment, gender pay gap, P11D reporting, car allowance and general payroll controls.
**What you'll need to succeed**
You will be an experienced payroll clerk who is confident in processing end-to-end payroll ideally in manufacturing. We will expect you to be aware of payroll legislation and processes as well as being able to deal with payroll queries. As explained the finalstage of payroll is outsourced to ADP so any experience of working with an outsourced / 3rd party payroll provided would be an advantage.

The organisation offers a salary circa £28,000, pension, holiday. Hybrid-working may be available depending on experience.
