Chief Custodian

The Faculty of Law are seeking to recruit a proactive, dedicated, and enthusiastic Chief Custodian who will be primarily responsible for the efficient day-to-day upkeep of the David Williams Building.

The role holder will spend time working both independently and as part of the wider administrative team, alongside academics, and with colleagues from the wider University
- for this reason, we are looking to employ a personable individual who can work well and communicate clearly with others.

Some of the regular duties include: setting up teaching rooms; moving furniture; liaising with Estates Division colleagues, cleaners, and contractors about required works; undertaking work related to building-based projects; and ensuring the plant room machinery and fire safety systems are operating correctly.
