**Responsibilities**:
As a Ledger Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth financial operations for our client. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Accurately managing and maintaining financial records.
- Processing invoices, payments, and transactions.
- Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies.
- Assisting with general accounting tasks and month-end procedures.
- Providing support to the finance team as needed.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Previous experience in a similar ledger clerk or finance role is preferred.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.

This is a temporary, full-time position based in our modern and welcoming office, offering a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
