Yardman

This interesting and varied "hands on" role involves working a variety of different roles including, looking after the yard, handling materials and helping our in house maintenance department. You must be able to work within a team, either in the main productionarea or if applicable on a client’s site and be aware of all aspects including Health & Safety, Production, Inspection and Discipline.

**General Objectives and Responsibilities**
- Keeping the factory yard clean
- Helping the maintenance department
- Packing and picking
- Helping in factory and office sections where necessary
- Gardening - grass cutting
- Forklift Operating - Loading & Unloading Materials and Products

Your rate is to be negotiated depending on experience.

You would be contracted to work 39-hour Monday - Friday with a 10-minute tea break 10.00am - 10.00am and ½ hour lunchbreak 1.00pm - 1.30pm.

Hours are 7.30 to 4, 4:30 and 5pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 12pm finish unless working overtime.

Overtime is generally available paid at 1.5 times hourly rate Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
