Audit Trainee

Do you want to join a growing Top 10 firm of chartered accountants in Kent as an Audit and Accounts Trainee / Semi Senior? We're supporting a national accountancy practice who are looking to grow their audit team with an additional member of staff. Thisis an exciting position, where you will work in a mixed capacity across audit & Accounts, servicing a varied portfolio of corporate and not for profit organisations across the South-East. You will be exposed to businesses and organisations including manufacturing,construction, consultancy, charities and academies to name a few.

Our client is offering full study support and on the job training.
- Prepare statutory Accounts
- Prepare analysis of accounting data from clients’ books and records.
- Active engagement with client staff in the gathering of appropriate audit evidence.
- Build strong relationships with new and established clients.
- Adherence to budget and timetable, bringing matters to the attention of the senior or manager, particularly when actual time is in excess of budget.
- Involvement in the planning, execution and finalisation of the audit assignment supporting the Senior or Manager, depending on experience.
- Assist within the wider team by obtaining audit evidence necessary to support the opinions given.

**Requirements**:

- The role will suit any of an AAT qualified and/or, studying/part qualified/ finalist ACA/ACCA accountant.
- You will have at least one to three years or more accountancy practice experience in your career so far across the mix of audit /accounts etc and be looking to further your career within the profession with increasing responsibility and progression on offer,as you carve a key position within this successful team and growing Top 10 firm of chartered accountants.

**Benefits** £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
