I am pleased to be working with an engineering company at the forefront of their field looking for a NPI Engineer (New Product Introduction) to join them due to expansion of the current team.

We are looking for a strong team player with a positive mindset, must be goal driven and focused on continuous improvement.

**Outline job role**:

- Co-ordinate the transfer of new products to full production
- Inspection and evaluation (First Article Inspection)
- Liaising with R&D / Design Engineers
- Creation of BOMs
- Analysis of Data gathered from Testing of Systems and new products
- Development of SOPs
- Training of production staff in line with SOPs and build techniques
- Supporting with prototype building and testing using precision measuring techniques (Metrology and CMM)
- Knowledge of Mechanical manufacturing and assembly techniques
- Ability to understand and interpret SOPs with engineering and assembly drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve design and assembly issues
- Knowledge of testing techniques for Mechanical and electrical products
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Excellent level of written and verbal English
