To provide age appropriate group and individual playroom and bedside activities to inpatient children. To work as a member of the multidiscipilary team contributing to decisions and planning with regard to patient care, including written documentation. To assist other members of the MDT in distracting children during invasive procedures as requested. To contribute to liaison with and support a variety of non-hospital professionals, including the visiting teacher, scouts association and other visiting agencies.
