We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Assistant Psychologist with proven interest in neuropsychology to join us. The post involves working with adults who have experienced a stroke and live in the East Kent area. The clinical work is undertaken mostly in clinic settings across East Kent and via video. The role involves travel to patients' homes and care homes. You will work with other experienced Assistant Psychologists under the supervision of two Principal Clinical Psychologists.

Members of the Neuropsychology Service receive regular individual clinical and management supervision. There is a commitment to ongoing training and professional development. We have close links with the Salomons Clinical Psychology training programme.

The post will be based at Gregory House, Canterbury and is co-located with other Psychologists who are well established members of the Neuropsychology Service.

Under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist, the job is focused on the neuropsychological assessment, formulation and development of bespoke neuropsychological interventions for people referred (and their families or carers), who have experienced a stroke across East Kent.

The Kent Neuropsychology Service provides specialist neuropsychological assessments and cognitive rehabilitation, with a strong rehabilitation ethos. Clinical psychologists use a range of therapeutic approaches including ACT, CFT, CBT and Systemic Family Therapy.
