Are you passionate about precision engineering and skilled in operating manual machine tools? We have an exciting opportunity for a Manual Machinist to join our clients dynamic team

The Position:

- Operate manual machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, drill to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Set up and adjust machines to ensure accurate dimensions and smooth operation.
- Monitor and inspect the machining process to maintain strict adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during machining operations.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret technical drawings and provide input on manufacturing feasibility.
- Maintain and calibrate machines regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety.

What we need from you:

- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist with a strong background in operating lathes and milling machines.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Solid understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and precision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues effectively.
- Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to best practices in a workshop environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining methods.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Formal technical training or apprenticeship in machining or related fields (Desirable)
- Experience with CNC machining (Desirable but not essential)
