**CNC Setter and CNC Programmer / £12.00 - £15.00 P/H / Monday to Friday / Based in Diss, Norfolk / 40 Hour Week**

Hales Group are representing our client, for a new role for a CNC Setter and a CNC Programmer. The role would suit someone who is a setter and someone who is looking to progress into programming.

**Salary**

£12.00 - £15.00 per hour, can be negotiable DOE

**Hours**

Monday to Friday - 40 hour week

**The purpose of the role**:
To program and set CNC Turning Machines and Lathes using various products, you will be working as part of team and be willing to help in other areas if needed and able.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- To program and set various machines throughout production
- Carrying out quality checks on your own work
- Create a finished product specific to engineering drawings
- Maintain machinery by making sure all initial safety checks and maintenance are carried out with oil and lubrication
- Organising "pre-setting" with all personnel and equipment available
- Comply with all Health and Safety aspects of the company
- Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Have knowledge of Fanuc Controlled Machines
- Be able to do tool change and make sure machines are running at their optimum best
