Waterproofing Operative

Guardian Waterproofing is the commercial arm of residential waterproofing firm Guardian Preservation, trading since in 1977. Our head offices are located in Cheltenham, but our work takes us across the UK, where we install structural waterproofing, basement waterproofing and damp control solutions for commercial properties.

We are looking for great people to add to our team of Basement and Waterproofing Operatives as we continue to grow our business. We are looking for skilled individuals who have one or more of the following skills including carpentry, plastering, plumbing or general building skills with the ability to accurately measure and calculate material requirements. Although we would like previous experience, we are open to considering individuals looking for a change of career who are practically minded as full training can be provided. No two days are the same at Guardian and there is opportunity for growth and development as the company continues to expand. We have a happy and longstanding team.

As a Basement and Waterproofing Operative your role will include;
- Structural waterproofing, cellar and basement conversions, timber treatment, damp proofing and structural repairs
- Installing cavity drain membrane systems
- Installing bespoke pumping stations
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are always complied with
- Ensuring clients premises are left secure, clean and tidy at the end of each working day
- The role includes general building and any other tasks as required by the Company

You will require:

- CSCS card holder (can be applied for upon joining company)
- Clean driving license

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
