Treleaven Countryside Services is a family run business that is committed to the environment and ecological issues across its sectors of work.

Our team are our asset and have the skills and expertise to carry out work often fulfilled by a variety of different countryside contractors: such as woodland and/or lake management, fencing, tree surgery, felling, crown lifting and thinning, topping, hedge trimming, tree planting, landscaping and site clearance.

We are looking for Countryside & Woodland Operatives to join our busy, friendly hardworking team working across Cornwall.

**Role Overview**

**To support and develop the ethos of the company. By providing an outstanding and friendly service to our sustainable land and lake management clients, from individual households to large estates and organisations.**

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Be professional, self-motivated, hardworking and reliable
- Focus on providing a high level of Customer Service
- An ability to support the delivery of a varied programme of works to the highest standards
- Ensure Health and Safety and Environmental regulations are adhered to at all times
- Ensure that all vehicles, tools, materials and equipment are maintained, fit for use, stored and disposed of correctly.
- Work collaboratively with your fellow team members
- Identify new clients for the company
- Undertake any other reasonable duties that may be required including training

**Qualifications**

**Essential**

Appropriate qualifications and/or industry related certificates of competence e.g. Chainsaw, Brush cutting, Tractor with attachments, Spraying, Fencing, BTEC Diploma in Countryside Management, City & Guilds Work Based Agriculture etc

Countryside/Arboriculture/Agricultural experience

Current Full clean UK Driving Licence essential

**Desirable**

Emergency First Aid

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Arboriculture/Agriculture/Countryside Worker: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Industry Related Competencies for the role (required)
