Overseas Coordinator

**Job Description**:
Hourglass is the specialist permanent, overseas and leadership division of Pertemps Education. We work with trusts and schools across the UK, placing teachers from the UK and overseas into permanent roles at key times of the year.
We’re based near Halifax, and expect the role to be office based, especially in the first instance. However, there is plenty of scope for flexible working, to suit the applicant, and the fluctuating demands of the role.

**Aim of the role**:
This is an exciting opportunity to join an existing and successful overseas operation and to become a part of its future development. It is an integral role within the business as the overseas division has been the foundation of our success over the past 10 years.

As the overseas recruitment coordinator, you will:- Prepare CVs and profiles of overseas teachers so that they can be marketed by the sales team- Become an expert in visa and relocation requirements- Develop key overseas university partnerships- Plan, organise and attend overseas recruitment trips- Assist in selling overseas recruitment programmes to multi-academy trusts and schools across the UK in conjunction with the education sales teams-
- Report weekly on the development of the overseas pipeline-

- Ability to work under pressure and to targets- Able to travel overseas as required**This role will rely on specialist knowledge of overseas qualifications and immigration regulations. Thorough training and support will be provided in the following areas**:- Using UK ENIC (through ECCTIS) in order to verify comparable qualifications- Overseas trip planning - where we go, who we use, where we stay, trip structure, etc.- How to create an ‘Hourglass’ CV-
- Using sponsor licenses to allow UK schools to employ overseas teachers
